And then of course the presents. After a family dinner at Iggys,( yes, her favorite part was the ice cream and singing.) She loves the food too! She got to open presents. She loved them all, but she wanted Bendaroo,( basically yarn dipped in clear wax! Nice I could have made that!) Anyway, the Baldwin family gave them to her, but being the joker Heather is she hid them in a popcorn box and Dani was convinced she was getting popcorn but as she went through it she found it, she was laughing so hard she didn't realize what it was, we asked her and she said, " I don't know." It was a hilarious moment.
The Pumpkin Patch has become a tradition and what better day to go then Dani's birthday. She found this very big pumpkin, sat on it and said, " this is perfect." Well little did she know I switched it when she wasn't looking for a more moderate one. Shhhh. 
Since most of you know the whole family is on a diet, we decided to not even be tempted by cake, so I bought her a small cake. She loved it anyway. It was such a great time.
Dani has patiently been waiting all year to turn 6. I don't know what is about it but she absolutely could not wait. It finally came and what a day we had. With out the worry of a party this year it was nice to just concentrate on her and celebrate her big day. It started with a wake up birthday song and she grinned from ear to ear. Here is her birthday outfit that she picked out all on her own. She wants to be a Fashion Designer when she grows up.

I really like what you did for Dani's birthday, we had a lot of fun and she seemed very pleased with all her gifts. I'll tell you I wish I would have spent the money all on Carter rather than a birthday party!
