Finally Done!

Dani and Ashlee have been sharing a room since we found out we were having a boy back in 2007. The walls were pink and purple with a nursery wallpaper boarder. It was your regular baby nursery, due to the fact Ashlee was only 6 months old when we built our home and painted her room. With that being said, it was time for a face lift on the walls and new bedding was in order. I also wanted to make their room a space they would want to be and love. I really like the idea of making it pink and brown, brown being the warm color and pink adding the girliness to it. With that being decided I headed off to Home Deopt and picked out the paint and of course received the 411 on how to remove wallpaper. While I made over their room they were locked out. They could not see the final reveal because this was part of their Christmas from their Dad and I. So as the weeks passed I removed the wallpaper, primed, painted, hung a shelf all on my own. I had a desigener come in and paint the detail on my walls and pillow shams. We gave them a little TV with a DVD player in. This was a fun project and they absolutely love it! It was a great way to pass the first month of Richard being away! Hmm, what next?
