A lesson to be learned!

Thous shalt love thy neighbor. It is a commandment right, so thou shalt love thy sister is also, right? So this past week Dani and Ashlee have been so mean to one another and have refused to share with each other. So I thought that this would be the perfect lesson to have for FHE. So yesterday I thought about how to show them that it is nice to share and love each other through an activity. Well I must have been inspired because soon after I was looking for the perfect scripture I also thought of an idea, at dinner I will have them share one plate of food, ( plenty for both) one cup of milk, one fork and one chair. As they ate they were reminded to take turns and to share with each other. At first they were a little upset, but as dinnertime progressed my lesson became more apparent. D&C 88:123 Thous shalt love one another... completed our lesson. And now when they don't get along, I have reminded them of sharing dinner, next time it will be beds!

You are so inspired! I love it. What a great way to teach your children. Sometimes talking just isn't enough. That is a lesson they will carry for a long time. You are doing such a good job.

What a great mom you are! You amaze me more and more at how you manage to do it all without your hubby right now. I thought that was a very clever lesson. Way to go!
