There is one in every family and I was shocked to find out that my darling, golden child Dani was it! The bully on the playground! After working a long 14 days, I finally had make it into Dani's kindergarten class to volunteer. After class the teacher talked to me about the "playground incident." Yes we had our first life lesson, we do not bully other kids with all of out friends. Let me explain. Dani has three friends, Emma, Emily and Maile that are completely inseparable. I know it seems weird that at such a young age these girls have connected and built a lifelong friendship. They come from great families, so I was surprised that they had done what they had done, BULLIED!. There was a little girl at school that had candy and the four of them approached her about giving them some, she said no but she would bring them some tomorrow, so day after day she blew them off and finally they had enough, so they approached her and of course my daughter happen to be the first to throw the first punch, okay so not her fist, but her backpack, yes she hit this little girl with her backpack and the other three girls followed! I could not believe this! My golden child had quickly become the copper child! Just kidding but as we talked about this and learned a very valuable life lesson of kindness, tears of remorse came down. I had to capture this to scrapbook so that she will understand, life is not fair, nor perfect but through our mistakes we will learn life lessons! I love you Dani and no matter what will be on your side and hope to continue to guide you in making right choices!

I love that you agree that blogging shouldn't be a portrayal of perfection! Dani will look back at this and laugh...or at least I will laugh! :)
